Who is behind ‘soleras & criaderas’?

My name is Aurora Muñoz, I am a native from Jerez and I studied Tourism and Business. 

More than 12 years ago I had my first professional experience in the wine tourism sector of the Sherry Region as a tour guide in a winery. Since then I have cultivated my passion for Sherry Wines and studied their influence on the tradition and identity of which it is also my origin.

I have had educational and professional experiences in France during an Erasmus course, in London working as a bar waitress, in Madrid for an international bank, in China studying Chinese at Lanzhou University and teaching English in Chengdu, and in Málaga as a project manager at a marketing school for female entrepreneurs interested in launching their businesses into the digital world. 

In 2022 I came back to Jerez and started collaborating as account manager with Chelsea & Co, the agency in charge of the digital strategy of the Regulatory Council of the Denominations of Origin Sherry, Manzanilla and Brandy, and also creator of the International #sherryweek.

In 2023 I launched my project Soleras y Criaderas to offer services as a tour guide to visitors and agencies that look for exclusive tailor-made experiences in the Sherry Region, away from the more commercial tour circuits, giving visibility to small wineries that I consider very special and that at some point in my life contributed to my knowledge and passion for the universe of Sherry Wines and Manzanilla.
